What Ando adds to your Medtronic

Your glucose, back in the context of your life.

Every workout

Your CareLink glucose on every session.

Ando lines up your Medtronic glucose with every workout from Garmin, Apple Health, Strava, WHOOP, Oura or Fitbit. Each one gets its curve from before the start to an hour after, with time in range and average.

  • Arrives on its own, no export
  • Add the carbs you took and see them on the curve

On your wrist

Simplera and Guardian on Garmin and Apple Watch.

The Ando Glucose data field shows your Medtronic glucose on a Garmin during workouts. Live puts it on your iPhone lock screen, in the Dynamic Island and in your Apple Watch Smart Stack, or in an Android notification that reaches Galaxy and Pixel watches.

  • Garmin Connect charts your glucose after the workout
  • Live for one, two or four hours

Strava and nights

On your Strava posts and against your sleep.

Each Strava activity gets a glucose block with time in range, average, minimum and maximum. Each night, your sleep stages from your watch or ring sit next to your overnight curve.

Signing in to CareLink

Your password stays with Medtronic.

Ando connects through a CareLink care partner account that you create just for Ando. You sign in on Medtronic’s own CareLink page, inside the app, and Medtronic gives Ando an access token. Ando never sees or stores your CareLink password, and it only reads your glucose.

CareLink sessions can expire from time to time. When that happens, Ando sends one notification, you sign in again, and your readings fill back in. The CareLink guide covers every step.

Connect your Medtronic

A partner account, then sign in.

Ando follows your readings like a care partner would, through CareLink.

  1. Create a partner account

In CareLink Connect, create a care partner account just for Ando and request to follow your main account.

  2. Approve it

Approve the request from your main account, then sign the partner account out of CareLink Connect.

  3. Sign in from Ando

Choose Medtronic, pick United States or Outside US and sign in with the partner account on Medtronic’s page.

Every tap, with fixes for common errors, in the connect carelink guide.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Can I see my Medtronic Simplera on a Garmin?

Yes. Connect CareLink in Ando and add the Ando Glucose data field to your activity screens. Your glucose shows during workouts, and Garmin Connect charts it afterwards.

Can I see my Guardian or Simplera glucose on an Apple Watch?

Yes. Start Live in Ando on your iPhone; with iOS 18 or later, your glucose shows in the Apple Watch Smart Stack.

Why does Ando need a CareLink partner account?

It is how CareLink lets someone, or something, follow your readings without using your own login. Keeping that account just for Ando means signing in elsewhere never interrupts it.

Does Ando store my CareLink password?

No. You sign in on Medtronic’s page and Ando receives an access token, which it encrypts before storing.

Is Ando made by Medtronic?

No. Ando is an independent app, not affiliated with or endorsed by Medtronic. It reads your data through CareLink, with an account you create and approve.
