Connect your sensor
Dexcom, FreeStyle Libre, Medtronic, Medtrum or Nightscout. Our setup guides show every step.
Connect Strava
In Ando’s integrations, connect Strava. “Show CGM in description” is on from the start.
Record as usual
Upload from your watch, bike computer or phone. The block lands in the description once your glucose for the workout is in.
You stay in control
One switch, and your words stay yours.
The block is a small, fixed format. Here is exactly how it behaves.
| Situation | What Ando does |
|---|---|
| Your own description | Kept as is. The block goes after it, separated by a blank line. |
| You edit the activity later | Only Ando’s own block is ever updated; your text is never touched. |
| You delete the block on Strava | Ando stops writing to that activity. |
| You turn the switch off | No block on future activities. Blocks already posted stay. |
| Activity set to Only You | The block is added, and stays visible only to you on Strava. |
| Carbs and food you log | Never written to Strava. Private to you in Ando. |
Strava feeds Ando too
Every activity, with its curve.
Connecting Strava also brings your activities into Ando, whatever recorded them: a watch, a bike computer, an indoor training app or your phone. Each one gets its full glucose curve, from three hours before the start to an hour after, with heart rate, elevation and speed alongside, and your route.

FAQ
Questions people ask
How do I add my glucose to Strava?
Connect your sensor and Strava in Ando. The “Show CGM in description” switch is on by default, so each new activity gets a glucose block in its description once your glucose for the whole workout has arrived.
Does it work with Dexcom and FreeStyle Libre?
Yes, and with Medtronic, Medtrum and Nightscout. The block looks the same whatever sensor you wear.
When does the block appear?
As soon as your sensor’s cloud has readings for the whole workout. Often that is within minutes of uploading the activity; when readings arrive late, Ando keeps checking for up to 36 hours.
Will my followers see my glucose?
On activities your followers can see, yes: the block is part of the description. On activities set to Only You, it stays visible only to you. The link in the block opens a page with your glucose curve for that activity, viewable by anyone who has the link, without your route or private notes.
Does Ando touch the rest of my description?
No. Ando adds its block after your own text, separated by a blank line, and only ever updates its own block.
How do I remove the block?
Delete it from the activity on Strava and Ando will not add it to that activity again. To stop it for future activities, turn off “Show CGM in description” in Ando. Blocks already posted stay where they are.
Do my older activities get the block?
When you first connect Strava, Ando looks at your recent activities, up to the last 90 days, and adds the block to the ones it has your glucose for.
Is the carbs I log written to Strava?
No. Fuel and food you log in Ando stay private to you. Only the glucose block goes to Strava.
