Terms of Service

By accessing or using Ando (“we”, “our”, or “us”) at https://ando.care and https://app.ando.care (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Ando is operated by Ando, based in Europe. The Service is free to use.

Ando is a web application (PWA) that helps people wearing a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) understand what influences their glucose levels. The Service allows you to:

• Connect your CGM data (FreeStyle Libre via LibreLinkUp, Dexcom via Dexcom Share, or Nightscout)
• Connect third-party services such as Strava (with more integrations coming soon)
• Log meals (with optional photos) and exercises manually
• View a dashboard with real-time glucose, a 12-hour graph, and metrics (Time in Range, average, variability)

Glucose data is stored in a secure database and processed to display insights. The Service is provided “as is” and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time.

To use certain features of the Service, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

The Service is intended for users aged 16 and older. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Ando connects to external services to provide its features. We access data only through their official APIs and only with your explicit consent (e.g. OAuth). You can revoke access at any time.

• FreeStyle Libre (via LibreLinkUp)
• Dexcom (via Dexcom Share)
• Nightscout

Other integrations:

• Strava (activities)
• Fitbit, Whoop, Garmin (coming soon)

Each service has its own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for their practices. Your use of these integrations is subject to their respective policies.

We take the security of your data seriously. We use industry-standard measures including:

• Encryption at rest: Sensitive credentials (e.g. third-party tokens) are encrypted using AES-256-GCM before storage.
• Encryption in transit: All data is transmitted over TLS.
• Secure storage: Data is stored in a secure database (Supabase) with appropriate access controls.

We do not sell your personal or health data. We use your data only to provide and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Ando may offer an optional “Research Consent” feature. If you choose to enable it, you may contribute anonymized data to research projects. This is entirely optional.

• Only anonymized, aggregated data may be shared; no personally identifiable information is included.
• You can withdraw your consent at any time in Settings. After withdrawal, no new data will be shared; previously shared anonymized data cannot be recalled.

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by Ando or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our prior written consent. You may use the Service only for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ando and its affiliates, officers, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim (or zero if the Service is free). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability; in such cases, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we believe you have violated these terms or for other operational or legal reasons. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g. disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive termination.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will post the updated terms on this page and update the effective date. For material changes, we may also notify you by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the new terms constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the European Union and the member state in which Ando is established. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that member state, without prejudice to your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
