Terms of Service

By accessing or using Ando (“we”, “our”, or “us”) at https://ando.care and https://app.ando.care (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Ando is a paid, auto-renewing subscription. Access to the Service requires an active subscription, a free trial, or the limited transition access described below.

Ando is operated by ARETAEUS, a French simplified joint-stock company (société par actions simplifiée). Company details as they appear on the Kbis extract:

Ando is consumer software (including a mobile app and a web app) for people who use a continuous glucose monitor (CGM). It is not a medical device. The Service helps you explore patterns and context around your glucose. It allows you to:

• Connect your CGM data (FreeStyle Libre via LibreLinkUp, Dexcom via Dexcom Share, or Nightscout)
• Connect third-party services such as Strava (with more integrations coming soon)
• Log meals (with optional photos) and exercises manually
• View a dashboard with real-time glucose, a 12-hour graph, and metrics (Time in Range, average, variability)

Glucose data is stored in a secure database and processed to display insights. The Service is provided “as is” and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time.

Ando is offered as an auto-renewable subscription. Payment is processed exclusively through the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not collect or store your payment card details.

Plans and prices

• Monthly: €9.99 per month
• Yearly: €59.99 per year

These prices are the reference prices in euros. Apple and Google localize prices by country and currency. The price you pay is the price displayed in the store at the time of purchase.

Auto-renewal

Your subscription automatically renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID or Google account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your store account settings:

• Apple: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions
• Google: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions

Deleting the app or your Ando account does not cancel the store subscription. You must cancel it in the store settings.

Free trial (new accounts)

New accounts receive a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription converts to a paid plan and the applicable store price is charged. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if you purchase a subscription during the trial.

Existing accounts

Accounts already created before the paid membership model is activated keep full access for 7 days after that activation. We will announce the activation date by email and in the app. After those 7 days, continued access requires an active subscription (or a new-account trial if you later create a new account).

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

Ando is digital content not supplied on a tangible medium and is made available immediately. By starting a trial or subscription, you expressly request that we begin providing the Service immediately and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal once performance has begun (that is, once you access the Service).

Store refunds, if any, are handled by Apple or Google under their respective refund policies.

To use certain features of the Service, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

The Service is intended for users aged 16 and older. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

How we collect, use, and protect your data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

Ando connects to external services to provide its features. We access data only through their official APIs and only with your explicit consent (e.g. OAuth). You can revoke access at any time.

• FreeStyle Libre (via LibreLinkUp)
• Dexcom (via Dexcom Share)
• Nightscout

Other integrations:

• Strava (activities)
• Fitbit, Whoop, Garmin (coming soon)

Each service has its own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for their practices. Your use of these integrations is subject to their respective policies.

We take the security of your data seriously. We use industry-standard measures including:

• Encryption at rest: Sensitive credentials (e.g. third-party tokens) are encrypted using AES-256-GCM before storage.
• Encryption in transit: All data is transmitted over TLS.
• Secure storage: Data is stored in a secure database (Supabase) with appropriate access controls.

We do not sell your personal or health data. We use your data only to provide and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Ando may offer an optional “Research Consent” feature. If you choose to enable it, you may contribute anonymized data to research projects. This is entirely optional.

• Only anonymized, aggregated data may be shared; no personally identifiable information is included.
• You can withdraw your consent at any time in Settings. After withdrawal, no new data will be shared; previously shared anonymized data cannot be recalled.

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by ARETAEUS or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our prior written consent. You may use the Service only for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ARETAEUS and its affiliates, officers, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim (or zero if you have not paid). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability; in such cases, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings. Cancelling your store subscription or deleting your account does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period, except where required by law or by Apple or Google. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we believe you have violated these terms or for other operational or legal reasons. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g. disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive termination.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will post the updated terms on this page and update the effective date. For material changes, we may also notify you by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the new terms constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service and cancel any active subscription in your store settings.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent French courts, without prejudice to your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
