Galaxy Watch and Pixel Watch

On Android

A live notification that follows your glucose.

Live keeps an ongoing notification with your latest glucose, its trend arrow, the change since the last reading and the time it was taken. On Android 16 it also becomes a chip in the status bar.

  • Silent: no sound, no vibration
  • Ends on its own after one, two or four hours

On your wrist

Mirrored to your watch.

Wear OS shows your phone’s notifications on your watch. On recent versions that includes the Live notification, so your glucose is a glance away on your Galaxy Watch or Pixel Watch, with nothing to install on the watch.

  • Every sensor Ando supports

Set it up

Three steps on your phone.

  1. Connect your sensor

In Ando, connect your Dexcom, FreeStyle Libre, Medtronic, Medtrum or Nightscout.

  2. Allow notifications

Allow Ando’s notifications on your phone, and in your watch’s companion app so they reach your wrist.

  3. Start Live

Tap Live on the home screen and pick one, two or four hours. Your glucose shows up on your phone and watch.

Your workouts and nights

Pixel Watch through Fitbit. Anything through Strava.

Live covers the moment. For the context, Ando brings in your workouts and nights from the apps you already use:

  • Pixel Watch: connect Fitbit in Ando for workouts and sleep stages.
  • Any watch that posts to Strava: connect Strava and every activity gets its glucose curve, and a glucose block if you like.
  • A Garmin too? The Ando Glucose data field shows your glucose during workouts.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Can I see my Dexcom or Libre glucose on a Galaxy Watch?

Yes. Connect your sensor to Ando and start Live on your Android phone. On recent Wear OS versions, the Live notification with your glucose shows on your Galaxy Watch. It works with Dexcom, FreeStyle Libre, Medtronic, Medtrum and Nightscout.

Does it work on a Pixel Watch?

Yes, the same way: the Live notification from your phone appears on the watch. And if you connect Fitbit in Ando, your Pixel Watch workouts and sleep come in too, lined up with your glucose.

Do I need an app on the watch?

No. Live is a notification on your Android phone, and Wear OS mirrors it to your watch. There is nothing to install on the watch.

The notification does not show on my watch. What can I check?

Check that your watch is connected to your phone, that notifications from Ando are allowed in your watch’s companion app (Galaxy Wearable or Pixel Watch), and that your watch runs a recent version of Wear OS.

Does Ando import Galaxy Watch workouts and sleep?

Not directly today. If you record workouts with Strava, Garmin, WHOOP, Oura or Fitbit, they come into Ando from there.

Is the Live notification noisy?

No. It is a silent, ongoing notification: no sound, no vibration. It ends on its own when the one, two or four hours you chose are over.
