About Ando
What is Ando?
Ando is the glucose companion for an active life. It pulls glucose from your sensor’s cloud and lines it up with every workout, every night and every week, from the watch, ring or band you already wear, and shows it live on your lock screen and watch when it matters.
Who is Ando for?
Adults who wear a CGM and live an active life: people who run, ride or train hard, and people who walk, go to the gym, do yoga, sleep and eat like everyone else, and want to see their glucose in the context of their day.
Is Ando a medical device?
No. Ando shows your glucose in context, for visualization and self-reflection. It does not give medical advice, does not replace your sensor app or its alerts, and must not be used for treatment decisions.
Is Ando available on iPhone and Android?
Yes, on iPhone and Android phones, in English. Members use it in more than 40 countries.
Sensors
Which sensors work with Ando?
Dexcom G7, G6 and ONE+, FreeStyle Libre 2 and 3, Medtronic Simplera and Guardian, Medtrum TouchCare Nano, and any sensor you upload to a Nightscout site.
How does Ando get my glucose?
From your sensor maker’s sharing service (Dexcom Share, LibreLinkUp, CareLink, EasyFollow or your Nightscout site), with your own login. Nothing to pair, and Ando never changes anything on your sensor.
Do I keep my sensor app?
Yes. Your sensor app keeps reading your sensor, uploading your readings and handling your alerts. Ando reads from the cloud and puts your glucose in context.
How fresh is the glucose in Ando?
A few minutes behind your sensor, like any follower app. With Live on, Ando checks for a new reading about every five minutes; otherwise it keeps your history up to date in the background and fetches the latest readings when you open the app.
Watches and apps
Which watches and apps work with Ando?
Garmin, Apple Watch and Apple Health, Galaxy Watch and Pixel Watch, WHOOP, Oura, Fitbit and Strava. Each one brings your workouts and nights into Ando, shows your glucose on your wrist, or both.
Can I see my glucose on my watch?
Yes: on a Garmin with the Ando Glucose data field during workouts, on an Apple Watch in the Smart Stack with Live (iOS 18), and on a Galaxy Watch or Pixel Watch through the Live notification on recent Wear OS versions.
Do I need my phone with me?
Yes. Your sensor uploads through your phone, and your watch gets your glucose through it too: the Garmin field through the Garmin Connect app, the Apple Watch and Wear OS through your phone’s Live.
Does Ando post to Strava?
If you connect Strava, Ando adds a short glucose block to each activity description: time in range, average, minimum and maximum, with a link to the curve. One switch turns it off.
Membership
How much does Ando cost?
There are two plans: yearly, with a 7-day free trial, and monthly. Prices depend on your country; the App Store or Google Play shows your exact price before you pay.
Will I be reminded before the trial ends?
Yes, two days before, by email and by push if you allow notifications. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing.
How do I cancel?
From your App Store or Google Play subscriptions. Your membership stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
Can I try Ando before connecting my sensor?
Yes. During sign-up you can skip the sensor step and look around with sample data, then connect your sensor when you are ready.
Your data
Is my sensor login safe?
Ando encrypts it with AES-256-GCM before storing it and uses it only to read your glucose. For Medtronic CareLink, Ando never sees your password at all.
Does Ando sell my data or show ads?
No. No ads, no advertising trackers in the app, and your data is never sold or used for advertising.
How do I delete my data?
Delete your account from Settings in the app. That deletes your account and the data associated with it.
