What Ando adds to your Dexcom

Your glucose, back in the context of your life.

Every workout

A five-minute curve for every session.

Your Dexcom reads every five minutes, which gives each workout a clear curve, from before the start to an hour after. Ando lines it up with the runs, rides and sessions from Garmin, Apple Health, Strava, WHOOP, Oura or Fitbit, without you doing anything.

  • Time in range and average for each workout
  • Add the carbs you took and see them on the curve

Live

Your Dexcom at a glance, on any wrist.

Start Live and your Dexcom glucose shows on your iPhone lock screen, in the Dynamic Island and your Apple Watch Smart Stack, or in a quiet Android notification that reaches Galaxy and Pixel watches. On a Garmin, the Ando Glucose data field shows it during workouts.

  • One, two or four hours, then it ends on its own
  • Trend arrow and time of the reading

Strava and nights

On your Strava posts and against your sleep.

Each Strava activity gets a glucose block with time in range, average, minimum and maximum. Each night, your sleep stages from your watch or ring sit next to your overnight Dexcom curve.

Dexcom and Garmin

G7, G6 and ONE+ on the same Garmin field.

Dexcom offers its own Connect IQ apps for the G6 and G7. If you use them, keep them. Ando’s Ando Glucose data field works for G7, G6 and ONE+ alike, records your glucose into the activity so Garmin Connect draws a chart afterwards, and pairs with everything else Ando does: the workout in context, the Strava block, your wraps.

Ando is an independent app. It reads your glucose through Dexcom Share with your own login, and never changes anything on your sensor or in your Dexcom account.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Does Ando work with the Dexcom G7?

Yes. Ando works with the Dexcom G7, G6 and ONE+ through Dexcom Share. Turn on Share in the Dexcom app, then sign in to Ando with your main Dexcom account.

Do I need Dexcom Follow?

Share has to be on with at least one follower invited; inviting yourself is enough. Ando then signs in with your main Dexcom account, not with a Dexcom Follow login. Installing Dexcom Follow is a handy way to check that Share works.

Can I put my Dexcom glucose on Strava?

Yes. Connect Strava in Ando and each activity gets a block with your time in range and your average, minimum and maximum glucose, plus a link to the full curve.

Can I see my Dexcom on a Garmin watch?

Yes. Add the Ando Glucose data field to your activity screens and your Dexcom glucose shows during workouts, with a glucose chart in Garmin Connect afterwards. It works for G7, G6 and ONE+.

Does Ando replace the Dexcom app?

No. The Dexcom app keeps talking to your sensor, uploading your readings and handling your alerts. Ando reads your glucose from Dexcom Share and puts it in context.

Is Ando made by Dexcom?

No. Ando is an independent app, not affiliated with or endorsed by Dexcom. It reads your data through Dexcom Share, with your own login and your permission.
