Live

Your glucose at a glance, when it matters.

Start Live before you head out. For one, two or four hours your glucose sits on your lock screen, in the Dynamic Island, on your Apple Watch, Galaxy Watch, Pixel Watch or Garmin. Then it gets out of the way.

How it works

Start it. Glance. Forget it.

  1. Tap Live

On Ando’s home screen, tap Live next to your sensor’s name, before a run, a ride, a match or a long meeting.

  2. Pick a window

One, two or four hours. Your glucose shows up on your lock screen and watch within moments.

  3. Let it end

Live ends on its own when the window is over. Stop it earlier whenever you like; Ando never turns it back on by itself.

Where Live shows

Lock screen, island, wrist.

Every update carries your latest glucose, its trend arrow and when it was taken. What you see depends on where you look.

iPhone

Lock screen, Dynamic Island, Smart Stack.

A Live Activity shows your glucose and the last six hours on the lock screen, sits in the Dynamic Island while you use other apps, and appears in your Apple Watch Smart Stack.

  • Trend arrow and change since the last reading
  • Time since the reading, always visible

Android

A live notification, on your phone and your watch.

An ongoing, silent notification keeps your glucose at the top of your phone. On Android 16 it becomes a chip in the status bar, and on recent Wear OS versions it shows on your Galaxy Watch or Pixel Watch.

  • Glucose, arrow, change and time
  • Quiet: no sound, no vibration

A glance, not a stare

Live is there when it matters, then it leaves.

Ando puts your glucose back into the context of your day: the run, the night, the week. Live follows the same idea. It’s for the moments when a glance helps, during a long run, a match, a ride or a day on your feet, and it ends on its own when the window you chose is over.

It never restarts by itself, it doesn’t buzz, and it runs on one phone at a time. Between Live sessions, your glucose keeps landing on your workouts and nights without you looking.

How fresh is it? Ando checks your sensor’s cloud for a new reading about every five minutes and pushes it as soon as it is published. Where the minutes come from.

FAQ

Questions people ask

How do I show my glucose on my iPhone lock screen?

Open Ando, tap Live on the home screen and choose 1, 2 or 4 hours. Your latest glucose, its trend arrow and the last six hours appear on your lock screen and in the Dynamic Island until the time is up or you stop it.

Does Live work with FreeStyle Libre 3, Dexcom G7 and Medtronic?

Yes. Live works with every sensor Ando supports: Dexcom, FreeStyle Libre, Medtronic, Medtrum and Nightscout.

Can I see my glucose on my Apple Watch?

Yes. With an iPhone on iOS 18 or later, Live also shows in your Apple Watch Smart Stack: value, arrow and how long ago the reading was taken. There is nothing extra to install on the watch.

Does Live work on Android and Wear OS?

Yes. On Android, Live is an ongoing notification with your glucose, its arrow, the change since the last reading and the time. On Android 16 it also shows as a chip in the status bar, and on recent Wear OS versions the notification appears on your Galaxy Watch or Pixel Watch.

How long does Live last?

One, two or four hours, your choice each time. It ends on its own at the end of the window, or earlier if you stop it. Ando never restarts it by itself.

Is Live an alarm?

No. Live is a quiet display, for a glance when it matters. Keep your sensor app for alerts, and follow its instructions for treatment decisions.

Can I run Live on two phones?

Live runs on one phone at a time. Starting it on a second phone tells you it is already running on another one.
