During the ride

A glance, without stopping.

On a Garmin watch, the Ando Glucose data field shows your latest reading on your ride screen for the whole ride. With your phone on the handlebars, Live keeps your glucose on the lock screen for up to four hours. On an Apple Watch, it sits in the Smart Stack.

  • Updated every five minutes on the Garmin field
  • Garmin Connect charts it after the ride

Fuel

Every gel and bottle, on the line.

Log what you took on the bike: gels, drinks, bars or food, from 5 to 200 g each, with or without a time. Timed entries become markers on your glucose curve; the breakfast before and the recovery drink after show too, without counting in the ride’s total.

  • Private to you, never written to Strava

After the ride

Speed, climbs and glucose, together.

Rides from Strava or Garmin arrive with speed, elevation and heart rate next to your glucose curve, and your route. On Strava, a short glucose block joins the description for the group to see.

Your setup

On the wrist, on the bars, on Strava.

Why can glucose climb on a hard effort and drift down on a long, steady one? The patterns, in plain words.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Can I see my glucose on a Garmin Edge?

Not at the moment: the Ando Glucose data field runs on Garmin watches, not on Edge bike computers. Ride with a compatible Garmin watch, or start Live and keep your phone on your handlebars, where the lock screen shows your glucose.

Do long rides work?

Yes. On a Garmin watch the data field runs for the whole activity, however long. Live lasts up to four hours per session, so for longer rides use the data field or start Live again.

Do indoor rides count?

Yes. Indoor rides that reach Strava, Garmin or Apple Health come into Ando like any other ride, with their glucose curve.

Can I log what I eat and drink on the bike?

Yes. Add gels, drinks, bars or food to any ride, from 5 to 200 g per entry, with or without a time. Timed entries show as markers on the curve.

Which sensors work?

Dexcom G7, G6 and ONE+, FreeStyle Libre 2 and 3, Medtronic Simplera and Guardian, Medtrum TouchCare Nano and Nightscout.
